Green hills of Abruzzo

Nestled between the peaks of the Gran Sasso and the Adriatic coast, Terramàne is a corner of Abruzzo that smells of wine and oil, where the landscape follows the soft contours of the Teramo hills and the land still ties people, stories, crafts. It is a sincere place, to live through the many experiences of culture, art, nature and taste that you could find here, discovering the authenticity of this territory, where the hospitality tastes like an embrace.

Tortoreto

Tortoreto, defined as ‘aristocratic and elegant’ for the sobriety of its urban décor and the refinement of the Art Nouveau villas on the seafront, has developed over time with respect for the environment.

Giulianova

Flanked by a promenade of palm trees, pines and flowers, Giulianova is an elegant seaside town, awarded the Blue Flag, Green Flag and Yellow Flag, but also an unexpected surprise for its wealth of art and culture.

Roseto degli Abruzzi

Known as “Lido delle Rose”, Roseto is one of the main tourist centres on the Abruzzo coastline, among the seven pearls of the “garden coast“, it has soft sandy beaches and shallow waters, which can also be reached via the well-equipped cycle path.

Mosciano Sant'Angelo

We recommend a tour of the heart of the town, to catch a glimpse of part of the medieval walls and towers that outline Mosciano’s profile: Torre Acquaviva, Torre Cardelli, Torre del Belvedere, Torre Marini and Torre Zeda.

Bellante

As green as the Teramo hills, as blue as the Adriatic Sea, as white as the snowy peaks of the Gran Sasso d’Italia in winter: Bellante from its height gives you the vivid colours of a landscape that is a masterpiece!

Castellalto

Castellalto looks like this, decidedly unique due to the singular presence of two different historical centres, Castellalto and Castelbasso, separated by a series of mountain hamlets and surrounded by the splendid panorama stretching from the majestic Gran Sasso d’Italia, with the peak of Corno Grande, to the infinite space of the Adriatic.

Cellino Attanasio

Cellino Attanasio is an enchanting village between the Piomba and Vomano Valleys, set on a rocky relief: an ideal destination for an authentic experience of culture and history.

Notaresco

Notaresco is the right place to breathe in the tranquility of a medieval village, perched on the hills and surrounded by the defensive enclosure of houses.

Morro D'oro

The village of Morro d’Oro is first mentioned in 1021. That pile of stones, whose oldest part has maintained its 15th-century structure, today appears to us as a stately village.

Corropoli

Among the hills of this area, more than five thousand years ago, the Village of Ripoli was founded, one of the largest settlements dating back to the Neolithic period. The name Corropoli derives from ‘Collis Ruppuli’, that is ‘Colle di Ripoli’.

Ancarano

Ancarano can be considered a small ‘sentinel’ due to its privileged position on the Tronto valley. A very ancient village that, according to the remains of a settlement nearby, was inhabited by the Romans and probably, even earlier, by the Picenes from Ascoli.

Nereto

The key word for your journey through the streets of Nereto is time, slow time. The village with its ancient traditions deserves calm and attention to be discovered to the core.

Controguerra

Hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, a pleasant landscape full of vitality that conveys beauty and wealth: this is how Controguerra welcomes you.

Sant'Egidio

Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata, inhabited since the Palaeolithic period and then an ancient Roman settlement known as Ilium, will catch your eye with its refined peculiarities.

Sant'Omero

Lying in defense of the hill, Sant’Omero dominates the valleys of the Vibrata and Salinello rivers, offering the clear air of hillside currents and sea breezes: a breath of wellness also provided by the natural beauty that surrounds it.

Torano Nuovo

Are you ready to immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of Torano Nuovo? Go through Porta Castellana, a direct testimony of glorious ancient times, which leads to the medieval castle and its fortifications.

Colonnella

Come and get to know this enchanting centre: from its Belvedere you will be enchanted by the extraordinary views of the Apennines, from the Sibillini Mountains to the Gran Sasso and the Maiella.

Silvi

The “Pearl of the Adriatic” is the southernmost seaside resort on the Teramo coast and, like its sisters, offers a sea with sandy seabed, ideal for family tourism.

Pineto

In the name, its history. In fact, Pineto owes its name to the historic coastal pine forest desired by Luigi Corrado Filiani, who in 1926 had trees planted in the territory of Villa Filiani.

Alba Adriatica

Alba Adriatica, along with Martinsicuro, Tortoreto, Giulianova, Roseto degli Abruzzi, Pineto and Silvi, is one of the ‘seven sisters’ of the Teramo coast. It is the right destination for those who love an active holiday full of fun, but also for those looking for relaxation.

Martinsicuro

The northern gateway to the region, Martinsicuro is the first of the “seven sisters” that will welcome you to Abruzzo, along the “garden coast”, as a modern seaside town that has chosen to be green and nature-conscious.
