After a day at the beach, move from <\/span>Tortoreto Lido<\/b> and climb to the top of the village to arrive at the <\/span>belvedere<\/b> in the historic centre. Right in the historic centre, you can visit the<\/span> Church of Our Lady of Mercy<\/b>, a small jewel among Italy’s National Monuments. It was built in 1347 as a thanks to the Virgin of Mercy for the end of the plague that affected Italy in those years. Here, the geometric elements and their composition create a harmonious architecture that recounts the Renaissance era. Inside, the church preserves frescoes depicting various religious scenes, including the cycle on the theme of the Redemption of Mankind.<\/span><\/p>\n
